Islamabad (TNS) IGP Islamabad reviews overall law and order situation and police affairs,According to details, high-level meetings were held at the Central Police Office under the chairmanship of the IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. The meetings were attended by DG Safe City Muhammad Haroon Joya, DIG Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar, along with AIGs, SSPs, and SPs.During the meeting, the IGP Islamabad reviewed the overall law and order situation in the federal capital, the effectiveness of patrolling across the city, checking mechanisms at police checkpoints, security arrangements for the Red zone, and safety measures for foreign delegations.On this occasion, he issued clear directives to all officers, emphasizing that facilitating the general public must remain the top priority. He also termed the welfare of police personnel as essential, stating that better public service is only possible when officers are well-supported and cared for.The IGP Islamabad also reviewed reforms in the investigation system, improvements in training at the Capital Police College, and ongoing police welfare projects.Later, he assessed progress on Safe City Islamabad expansion projects, technology-driven initiatives, and mobile applications aimed at facilitating citizens. He directed that public service delivery be aligned with modern standards.Furthermore, the IGP Islamabad discussed key measures regarding timely resolution of public complaints, effective prosecution of cases, and improvements in legal processes. He instructed officers to make the complaints management system more efficient and ensure prompt, merit-based resolution of citizens grievances to further strengthen public trust in the police.
