Shah advises govt to seek army help to end Islamabad siege

Islamabad, Nov. 21 (TNS): Senior PPP leader Khursheed Shah on Tuesday advised the government to seek the military help to resolve two-week long sit-in staged by religious parties at Faizabad.

Speaking to journalists here, Shah said it is constitutional right of the government to talk to the army and summoning forces in crisis situation.

Opposition Leader in the National Assembly said that the recent deadlock must be resolved by negotiating, adding that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is responsible for the present situation.

With regards to the Elections Act Amendment Bill, Shah said they will try their best to pass the amendment in the National Assembly today (Tuesday).
