Islamabad (TNS) SSP Operations Islamabad chairs Muharram security coordination meeting،Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, an important meeting was held under the chairmanship of SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza regarding security arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram.The meeting was attended by ADCG Sahibzada Muhammad Yousaf, SSP Security Operations Suleman Zafar, SP Headquarters, zonal SPs, other senior officers, procession organizers, leaders, and representatives of the peace committee.During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on various aspects of ensuring foolproof security during Muharram-ul-Haram, including the security of processions and religious gatherings, route monitoring, traffic management plans, coordination with the district administration, route clearance, effective monitoring of entry and exit points, the role of volunteers, and inter-agency coordination.On this occasion, SSP Operations stated that all available resources are being utilized to ensure the protection of the lives and property of citizens and to maintain a peaceful environment during Muharram-ul-Haram. He emphasized that organizers and peace committee representatives should ensure full cooperation with security agencies so that the best possible security arrangements can be maintained during religious gatherings and processions.The participants reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining law and order during Muharram-ul-Haram and promoting mutual cooperation and harmony. Islamabad Police is taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of citizens, smooth traffic flow, and the maintenance of peace and order during Muharram-ul-Haram.
