Islamabad (TNS) Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan assumes charge,According to the details, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan, has formally assumed charge of her office. Immediately after taking charge, she chaired an important meeting with all Zonal DSPs and conducted a detailed review of traffic management, enforcement measures, and services being provided to citizens.On this occasion, she stated that promoting traffic discipline, ensuring effective traffic management, and providing quality travel facilities to citizens in the federal capital are among the top priorities of Islamabad Traffic Police. She directed all officers to further strengthen the enforcement of traffic laws and take impartial action against violators without discrimination.CTO Islamabad issued directions to ensure strict and effective enforcement against lane violations, one-way violations, the use of mobile phones while driving, non-compliance with seat belt regulations, non-standard and illegal number plates, underage driving, as well as dangerous practices such as one-wheeling and drifting.She further stated that the performance of all zonal officers will be monitored and evaluated on a daily basis. She emphasized that every possible measure will be taken to make the traffic system safer, more efficient, and citizen-friendly.She added that Islamabad Traffic Police will utilize all available resources and capabilities to provide the best possible services to citizens through modern and innovative traffic management practices that meet contemporary requirements.
