Islamabad (TNS) IG reviews public safety and traffic management, According to the details, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, chaired an important meeting attended by all DIGs, AIGs, SSPs, and the Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad.During the meeting, a comprehensive review was conducted of the overall law and order situation in the federal capital, crime prevention measures, the effective use of modern technology, traffic management, security arrangements, and various initiatives aimed at making the policing system more efficient, modern, and citizen-friendly.On this occasion, the IGP Islamabad directed all officers to make full use of modern technology, Safe City cameras, digital monitoring systems, data-driven policing, and other advanced resources to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property, prevent crime in a timely manner, and provide the highest standard of police services to the public.He further stated that effective surveillance, prompt response, and modern policing practices can significantly strengthen public confidence in the police. He also directed officers to adopt a comprehensive and effective strategy to ensure the smooth flow of traffic, reduce the number of road accidents, and provide safe and convenient travel facilities to citizens.In this regard, he emphasized the strict enforcement of traffic laws, continuous monitoring of major roads, the effective utilization of modern traffic management systems, and the enhancement of public awareness campaigns.Later, IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi met with internationally renowned Pakistani cyclist Muhammad Bakhsh.
