ISLAMABAD (TNS) Captain Asghar Baluch Shaheed – Abbas Baig Mrza – It was quite pleasnt day of 11 august 1973 when a gem born within the family of Jan Muhammad Baluch captain Ashghar Baluch shaheed ‘ family have defensive history , Shaheed Asghar grand father jindoo khan served in first world war , where his father played vital role in 2nd world war . due to that glittering history , love of uniform and armed forces was in the blood of Asghar Baluch , he was the youngest in his two brother and five sisters’ Asghar Baluch was crazy to join Pakistan army , after his matriculation and FCS he joined Pak army , after completion his training fron pakistam military academy he was posted in Azad Kashmir battalion in Zhob , he was promoted captain in 1998 and transfered to Gujranwala ‘ he was posted in Daras sector in may 1998’ after some time he was on leave to spend some time with his family but was summned within three days ‘ tension with indian army was on the peak circumstances was too tuff when Captain Asghr Baluch rejoin the regiment ‘ Captain Asghar Baluch started leading his troops from the front and started advance towards enemy in hectic artillery shelling , during his advance one shell was drop near to him he was injured with shell in head and embraces martyrdom , at that time he was just 27 years old . shaheed’s coffin was reached in his native village o 22 july , where funeral offered with full ilitary protocol and honour , Government of Pakistan was awarded with tamgha basalat to acknowledge his bravery , where as his village renamed to “asghar abad” its 20 july ‘ martyrdom aniversary of Shaheed Captain Asghar baluch , lets remember pray and salute to our hero
