Mississauga, Canada (TNS): Pakistan Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Mississauga, Canada, where a special and prestigious ceremony was organized to mark the occasion. The event was hosted by Rana Muhammad Tanveer, Member of the Punjab Board of Investment and CEO of World Trade Developer.

Mississauga Mayor Carolyn Parrish attended the ceremony as a special guest, adding significance to the celebrations. The event highlighted the strong bonds between Pakistan and Canada and the positive role of the Pakistani community in strengthening people-to-people relations.

The celebrations included a cake-cutting ceremony and the raising of the Pakistani national flag, with participants expressing their love for Pakistan and celebrating the country’s Independence Day with national pride and enthusiasm.
Speaking on the occasion, Rana Muhammad Tanveer said that Pakistanis living abroad continue to celebrate their national occasions with great passion and remain committed to contributing to Pakistan’s progress, prosperity and positive image around the world.
