Islamabad (TNS) Beat Officers Directed to Strengthen Proactive and Result-Oriented Field Policing to Protect Citizens’ Lives and Property،According to the details, following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza conducted a special briefing for Beat Officers of all police stations. The briefing reviewed effective patrolling, crime prevention, action against criminal elements, and prompt police response to citizens.SSP Operations Islamabad directed Beat Officers to further strengthen patrolling in their respective areas and maintain close surveillance of criminal elements. They were instructed to closely monitor suspicious individuals, vehicles, and unusual activities during patrols and take prompt and effective action on any information received.He stated that a continuous and effective police presence at the police station level plays an important role in preventing crime. Beat Officers were therefore directed to pay special attention to important and sensitive locations and maintain effective communication with citizens.SSP Operations Islamabad also directed that official vehicles assigned to Beat Officers be kept operational and roadworthy at all times. Regular checks of vehicle fitness, essential equipment, and communication systems were ordered to ensure timely police response during patrols and emergencies.He further directed Beat Officers to monitor crime trends in their respective areas and take immediate action against criminal elements, proclaimed and wanted offenders, and suspicious activities. He said Beat Officers are an important field arm of the police station, responsible for maintaining an effective police presence, providing prompt assistance to citizens, and preventing crime.SSP Operations Islamabad stated that Islamabad Police will utilize all available resources to further strengthen field policing, prevent crime, take effective action against criminal elements, and protect the lives and property of citizens.
