Islamabad (TNS) Police Continues Crackdown under “No to Weapon” Campaign; Five Arrested for Aerial Firing,According to the details, following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police is continuing effective action under its “No to Weapon” campaign.In this regard, police teams from Aabpara and Karachi Company Police Stations took timely action and arrested five suspects allegedly involved in aerial firing. Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects, and further legal proceedings are underway.SSP Operations Islamabad stated that effective action is being taken under the “No to Weapon” campaign against illegal possession and display of weapons and aerial firing. He made it clear that no one would be allowed to take the law into their own hands or endanger the lives and property of citizens in Islamabad.He appealed to parents to closely monitor their children’s activities and keep them away from weapon display, aerial firing, and other criminal activities. He said that involvement in crime can seriously damage children’s future; therefore, parents should ensure proper guidance and encourage their children to participate in positive and constructive activities.
