Islamabad (TNS) IGP Visits Capital Patrols Headquarters and Police Stations; Reviews Development Work and Public Facilities،Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry visited Capital Patrols Headquarters and Police Stations Ramna, Lohi Bher and Koral, where he reviewed ongoing development works, facilities available to police officers and Officials, public service delivery and overall administrative arrangements.At Capital Patrols Headquarters, officers briefed the IGP Islamabad on ongoing development work and other operational matters. The IGP Islamabad noted that the Capital Patrols Unit is playing an important role in protecting citizens through continuous patrolling and rapid response during emergencies. He directed officers to further improve patrolling, response time and field presence to strengthen public service delivery.The IGP Islamabad subsequently visited Police Stations Ramna, Lohi Bher and Koral and inspected ongoing construction and development works being carried out under the SIPS protocols. He also reviewed the facilities available to police officers and Officials, services being provided to citizens and the overall administrative arrangements at the police stations.Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry directed the concerned officers to complete the ongoing construction and development works at the earliest while maintaining the prescribed quality standards. He emphasized that police Officials should be provided with better working facilities and that police stations should offer citizens a clean, safe and facilitative environment.The IGP Islamabad said that police stations are the primary point of direct contact between citizens and the police; therefore, timely, effective and respectful police services must be ensured for every citizen visiting a police station. He directed officers to take practical measures to improve administrative affairs, facilitate citizens and further enhance the quality of policing.He further directed that development projects be closely monitored and completed within the stipulated timelines without compromising on quality, so that improved facilities can be provided to both police Officials and citizens.
