Sethi in Sri Lanka to attend ACC meeting

Lahore August 11 (TNS): Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board, Najam Sethi has left for Sri Lanka to attend meeting of Asian Cricket Council.

Sethi said to the media at Lahore airport before leaving for Colombo that the two-day conference will bring important discussions to the table. He said that moot will, among other matters, decide about the hosting venue of the Under-19 Asia Cup, which is scheduled to take place in Bengaluru, India in November this year.

Commenting on much-awaited Pak-India series, Sethi assured he would be holding talks with the officials of Cricket Board of India in this regard. He said despite rift with Indian cricket board, PCB would make efforts that the last matches of Sri Lankan series be played in Pakistan, for which they will convince the Sri Lankan officials.
