KARACHI, Aug. 13 (TNS): Muhammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi (MAJU) will celebrate Pakistan’s 70th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and fervor today.
At the start of the day Independence Day, celebrations will be started with the hoisting of Pakistan’s national flag at main university campus building by President, MAJU Prof. Dr. Zubair Shaikh. On this occasion, MAJU President will also inaugurate an Open House Session for the guidance and career counseling of the students seeking admissions in next semester of the university.
To mark the occasion an inter universities singing competition of national songs DIKHA DO JAZBA will also be held at university auditorium in which cash awards and shields will be present to the participating students on getting top positions. NNI
