Srinagar, August 15 (TNS): Hurriyat leader chief Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Tuesday welcomed the statement of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in which he said that love, not bullets will resolve Kashmir issue.
“Welcome @narendramodi also believes “Goli & gaali will not help resolve Kashmir” if insaniyat & insaaf replace them resolution can become a reality,” tweeted Mirwaiz.
Indian Prime Minister, in his Independence Day speech, on Tuesday said that “only love and not bullets or abuse can help resolve the dragging problem in Jammu and Kashmir”.
Modi in his speech from the Red Fort in Delhi said the issue cannot be resolved by “gaali se” (by abuse) or “goli se” (by bullet) but by embracing every Kashmiri.
