RAWALPINDI Aug 18 (TNS): As the two prisoners were injured after a scuffle erupted at Block No. 03 of Adiala jail between the inmates during late hours of Thursday night, the Officer in-charge Night-time and other employees of the jail on duty immediately arrived on the scene and controlled the situation promptly.
According to the details, the jail inmates named Nauman Mushtaq s/o Haji Mushtaq, Zeeshan Mehmood s/o Sultan Muhammad and Amir Shehzad s/o Muhammad Ilyas developed a fight with another prisoner Muhammad Umair Tawakali s/o Muhammad Sharif.

During the combat Nauman Mushtaq and Muhammad Umair received injuries.
After the incident, both the injured were quickly shifted to Jail hospital for medical treatment. Medical staff of the jail was seen immediately providing First Aid to the injured.
As the Adiala jail authorities have quickened reform pace at the jail, soon after the provision of medical aid, the offenders were transferred to the punishment block.
An application was also lodged with In-charge Police Adiala Jail against the accused, for lodging an FIR with Saddar Berouni Police Station.
Moreover, Incharge Block No. 03, Muhammad Riaz, was dismissed due to negligence while on duty and was issued a show cause notice.
Deputy Inspector General Jail Rawalpindi Region has started inquiry into the incident and investigation will be carried out against the accused prisoners and the neglectful employees on the duty.
