Punjab Govt promoted culture of transparency: Shahbaz

LAHORE, Aug 22 (TNS): Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday said that Punjab government promoted corruption-free and transparent culture in the province, saying that the fruits of fast-paced development are reaching the masses.

In a statement issued here, the chief minister said that the development projects executed in the province were exemplary with regard to transparency, quality and timely completion.

He said that the people were getting relief after completion of mega projects in the province. He pledged that he would serve the masses till his last breath. He added that all the resources of the province had been diverted towards enhancing quality of life of common man, adding that the masses were the real wealth of the country.

Shahbaz said that development of social sector was his government’s  foremost priority. He informed that billions of rupees were being spent on projects for provision of educations, health facilities and safe and clean drinking water to the masses of the province.

Meanwhile, in another statement the chief minister said that CPEC would play vital role in elimination of extremist and terrorists tendencies, poverty and unemployment from then region.

The chief minister said that CPEC would change history. He called for joining hands to make this project of extreme national importance a success.

Shahbaz said that no stone would be left unturned to remove all hurdles in the way of these projects and complete it timely.
