Rescue 1122 saves 31 persons in 28 road crashes

RAWALPINDI Aug 23 (TNS): District Command and Control Room, Rescue 1122 Rawalpindi said on Wednesday their teams have rescued 31 persons in at least 28 road accidents during the last 24 hours.

According to the detail, 26 seriously injured in various traffic accidents were shifted to different hospitals of Rawalpindi. However, 05 victims, who sustained minor injuries, were provided First Aid on the spot by Emergency Medical Teams.

According to the data, 19 drivers, 08 pedestrians and 04 passengers were among the victims of these road traffic crashes. Further details show that a total of 31 victims were affected by road crashes including 29 males and 02 females.

Moreover, the data showed that 01 person was under 18 years of age, 21 were between 18 to 40 years, and 05 between 41 to 60 years of age and 04 were above 60 years of age.
