GUJRANWALA, Aug 23(TNS): Nine fire brigade vehicles are struggling to douse the high-intensity blaze at a plastic goods manufacturing factory here which erupted early Thursday.
A three-storey plastic factory caught fire early today which gained intensity over time. Keeping in view the intensity of the fire, nearby buildings were evacuated, informed rescue officials. No loss of life has been reported up till now.
The fire caused huge cracks in the factory’s exterior and the building became susceptible to collapse, said sources. According to the latest update, the rescue team was waiting for the building to collapse so it can be easier to control the fire.
