ISLAMABAD, Aug 24 (TNS): A division bench of the Supreme Court on Thursday referred former Petroleum Minister Dr Asim Hussain’s appeal to remove his name from the Exit Control List (ECL) to the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) for formation of three-member bench.
The division bench of the apex court, comprising Justice Mushir Alam and Justice Qazi Faez Isa, heard the case filed by Dr Asim.During the course of proceedings, Justice Mushir Alam remarked that the case should be fixed before a three-member bench for hearing. The division bench cannot hear the case, he added. The court directed to fix the case before three-member bench and adjourned hearing of the case.
