MARDAN, Aug 25 (TNS): Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa’s city of Mardan is being hit by Dengue after provincial capital Peshawar. Two more dengue cases surfaced in Mardan on Friday taking the tally to 12.
Health department sources said that a boy hailing from Takht Bhai and a woman from Baghdad Town of Mardan shifted to Mardan Medical Complex were found affected with dengue virus.
After the two new cases total number of dengue patients in Mardan has reached to 12 of which 10 belong to Mardan district while two hailed from Swabi.
The Health Department has urged the public to adopt preventive measures to save them of the fatal disease.
