CHAKWAL: Sept. 14 (TNS) At least four people were killed after a trailer hit a passenger van on the motorway at the Salt Range near Kallar Kahar on Thursday morning, officials say.
According to Motorways Police, the fatal accident occurred due to over-speeding of the trailer and resultant failing brakes of the vehicle.
The dead and injured were shifted to district headquarters hospital Chakwal.
The accident occurred in the Salt Range area — a frequent site of road accidents on the motorway due to its steep slopes and sharp curves.
