AJK Govt to increase compensation amount for victims of Indian firing at LoC

MUZAFFARABAD Sept 18 (TNS):  A high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister, Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan in Muzaffarabad has decided to increase the amount of compensation for affected people of Indian unprovoked firing at Line of Control.

The meeting also reviewed latest situation at Line of Control. It was decided that official burial would also be given to the LoC martyrs.

Speaking on the occasion, the AJK Prime Minister directed the concerned authorities to ensure availability of doctors and paramedical staff in the Rural Health Centers adjacent to Line of Control.

Raja Farooq Haider Khan said India has miserably failed to suppress indigenous Kashmir liberation movement despite genocide of Kashmiris, use of lethal weapons like pallet guns and unprovoked firing at Line of Control.
