WASHINGTON Sept 19 (TNS): US President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping have agreed to mount pressure on North Korea amid escalating crisis over Pyongyang’ ballistic and nuclear weapons programs,
White House said during the telephonic conversations both the leaders discussed North Korea’s continued defiance of the international community and its efforts to destabilize Northeast Asia.
Both the leaders committed to maximize pressure on North Korea through vigorous enforcement of United Nations Security Council resolutions.
