Islamabad, Oct 3 (TNS): Rangers were not requisitioned by the ICT Administration for any kind of deployment in the premises of court on Monday, clarified the spokesperson.
Spokesperson of Deputy Commissioner Islamabad has issued clarification regarding letter written by SSP (ops) to District Magistrate for deployment of Rangers in the accountability court on Monday.
According to statement, a letter was received by the deputy commissioner Islamabad from the office of SSP (ops) regarding the deployment of rangers in the accountability court on the occasion of appearance of former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif before the NAB court.
On receipt of said letter deputy commissioner discussed the same with SSP(ops) , after mutual discussion no further action was taken by the deputy commissioner on the said letter ,neither deputy commissioner issued any instruction to Panjnad Rangers regarding the deployment of personnel in the premises of NAB court.
