QUETTA Oct 9 (TNS): At least five people, including three members of the Hazara community, were killed as unidentified men opened fire at their vehicle in Quetta’s Kasi Road early Monday morning.

Another person was seriously injured as the armed motorcyclists sprayed bullets at the vehicle. Three of the victims belonged to the Hazara community, police said.

The gunmen escaped unhurt after carrying out the attack, which appears to be an act of targeted killing, police officials added. An investigation has been started into the incident and the bodies have been shifted to Civil Hospital.

The Hazara community members were identified as Mohammad Ali, Khadim Hussain and Syed Sarwar while the passerby was identified as Saleh Mohammad.

Balochistan CM Nawaz Sanaullah Zehri condemned the incident and ordered an inquiry into the incident.
