FATA reforms brings PTI, ANP closer

Peshawar, Oct. 9 (TNS): Arch rivals Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Awami National Party (ANP) joined hands for FATA reforms.

Both parties are jointly staging protest against the delay in the implementation of FATA reforms, especially the merger of the tribal region with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The protest rally which kicked off from Peshawar is en route to Islamabad where they likely to stage sit-in till their demands are not met.

Key figures including KP Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar, former federal minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour, former provincial minister Aqil Shah, Haroon Bilour and MNA Alhaj Shahji Gul are participating in the rally.
