India will not succeed in suppressing Kashmiris’ freedom movement: APHC AJK

Islamabad: April 16, 2021 (TNS): All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir has called for probe into the heinous war crimes by Indian forces against civil population in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing a protest against recent human rights violations by Indian forces in IIOJK in Islamabad today (Friday), the APHC leaders said India will not succeed in suppressing Kashmiris’ freedom movement forcibly.

Speaking on the occasion, Kashmiri leader Mashal Malik said people of occupied valley are facing brutal human rights violations for the past seven decades.

Mashal Malik said Indian government is committing genocide since 5th August 2019 against the unarmed people of occupied valley.

She said around 17 people were martyred by the occupying forces last week.

She appealed the world community to punish India for its war crimes after thorough investigations into the matter under the auspices of the United Nations and International Court of Justice.

Convener APHC Syed Faiz Naqshbandi in his remarks urged the international community to send special delegations to investigate the human rights violations in IIOJK. He asked the UN Security Council to convene a special meeting and discuss Kashmir issue.

Addressing the protestors Convener APHC Muhammad Hussain Khateeb lauded Pakistan and its people for highlighting Kashmir issue and Indian atrocities worldwide.

He said remains of our martyrs for their love for Pakistani flag and Pakistan are not handed over to the bereaved families. He said India’s ruthless and cruel policies cannot stop this freedom movement.

Leader All Parties Hurriyat Conference Abdul Hameed Lone said human rights violations in IIOJK are an eye opener for the international community. He said Kashmiris are denied of their religious rights and Modi regime is using force to subdue populace.

The protestors urged UN to intervene and resolve Kashmir issue according to its resolutions. They carried flags and banners inscribed with slogans condemning the brutalities of Indian forces in IIOJK.

They also enchanted anti-Indian slogans and demanded halting of aggression against unarmed Kashmiris.
