Pakistan values ties with Japan, Iran: PM Abbasi

Islamabad, Oct. 12 (TNS): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that Pakistan attaches high importance to its relations with Iran and Japan, said a statement issued by the PM House here on Thursday.
Talking to Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan Takashi Kurai in Islamabad, he welcomed Japanese companies to invest in Pakistan that would enhance capacity of industrial sector to produce value added goods.
The Prime Minister highlighted the significant improvement in the economic and security environment in the country and attributed it to the successful law enforcement operations against terrorist groups.


The Ambassador of Japan appreciated Pakistan’s economic growth and stated that Pakistan’s perception particularly in Japan has changed to a business-friendly country.
Talking to Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Honardoost in Islamabad on Thursday, he said both Islamic countries are enjoying close and cordial relations.
The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of the Iranian leadership to the Prime Minister and emphasized the importance that Iran attaches to its relations with Pakistan.
