KARACHI, Oct 13 (TNS): A woman was injured when an unknown knife attacker stabbed her in North Nazimabad area here on Friday.
As per details, after Jauhar and Gulshan-e-Iqbal, the incident of stabbing women was reported in Nazimabad.
This shows that the knife-attacker has changed the area to target his victims. Earlier, fear and panic gripped Jauhar and Gulshan-e-Iqbal areas following several incidents of stabbing to women and girls.
Despite police and law enforcement agencies increased deployments and enhanced vigilance the attacker is still at large.
Apart from today’s incident, some 13 incidents of knife attacks on women have been reported in Jauhar and Gulshan.
But SSP Central Irfan Baloch however said that no incident of stabbing woman was reported in Nazimabad. He claimed that a woman was injured in the area in road accident.
The incidents have sparked fear and panic among the area residents, forcing women to take extra precautions before going outside. Panic has gripped different localities in Gulistan-e-Jauhar following the attacks.
