Islamabad, Oct. 20 (TNS): Residents of Islamabad’s Sector G-13 and G-14 staged protest for deprived of basic fesilities and development works.
Protesters said they are still yearning for development works and other basic facilities including parks, schools and hospital in the area.
People of the area staged a demonstration out side office of the Housing Foundation to press for their demands as no development work had been carried out for long in the sectors.
Protesters said that due to poor policies and appointment of corrupt elements in the Housing Foundation, the residents of these sectors are facing serious problems.
They alleged that funds of Sector G-13 and G-14 were not being used properly as entire area was giving a miserable look.
They said the whole sectors were in a dilapidated condition due to lack of development works.
The protesters called for taking urgent steps to ensure civic facilities to residents.
