Islamabad, Oct. 22 (TNS): The federal government has approved five point two billion rupees for the extension of Baran Dam in Bannu District, state media reported on Sunday.
Irrigation Department Engineer of district Bannu said that the project will be completed within three years.
The dam on completion, will bring thousands acres of barren land under cultivation in the area.
It will also serve as a tourist spot.
