Sukkur, Oct. 22 (TNS): PPP senior leader Khursheed Shah said on Sunday that Bilawal is our hope and he will be similar to his grandfather.
The Opposition leader in the National Assembly was addressing a crowd in Sukkur, where he said the PPP is the only political party to have completed its 50 years.
Shah said that the foundation of ‘Naya Pakistan’ was kept by the Pakistan People’s Party, adding that the party will keep the country on the road to development.
He said that due to the wrong policies the country shifted towards disintegration.
Shah said that back in the day, military ruler Zia-ul-Haq’s policies gave birth to terrorism, due to which unemployment still plagues the youth.
He said that prime ministers when held accountable for wrongdoing apologise and leave, while the PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto laid his life.
The senior PPP leader said that Bhutto had great designs for the country’s progress but his death was a part of the big conspiracy against Pakistan.

While taking a jibe at the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Shah remarked that those ‘who cannot keep their workers and children safe, won’t be able to save the country either’.
