95% TDPs returns to their native areas in FATA: say offcials

Islamabad, Oct. 29 (TNS): Ninety five percent Temporarily Displaced Persons (TDPs) of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) have returned to their native areas, state media quoting officials reported on Sunday.

According to FATA Disaster Management Authority, three hundred and twenty thousand families of Temporarily Displaced Persons have gone back to their areas.

The remaining seventeen thousand TDPs families belonging to North Waziristan and Khyber Agencies will be completed by the end of this year.

The Federal Government is providing twenty five thousand rupees and six months ration to each returning TDPs family.
