Rawalpindi, Nov. 1 (TNS): Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday said that Pakistan is a resilient, sports-loving nation, military media wing said in a statement.
“Pakistanis are peace and sports-loving resilient nation, bound to rise despite all challenges,” the military’s media wing tweeted on behalf of the COAS on the successful conclusion of the Pakistan Motor Rally organised by the Pakistan Army.
DG, ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor in a tweet said that the army chief believes that the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will be successful.
“CPEC will be truly successful when it lifts Balochistan to its rightful place. The army shall extend full support for its socio-economic development,” the DG ISPR tweeted.
The motor rally, which began on October 21 and concluded on Tuesday upon reaching Gawadar, was organised to commemorate the 70th year of the country’s independence.
