Islamabad, Oct. 3 (TNS): According to latest census conducted in 2017, Awan is a fourth largest tribe living predominantly in northern, central, and western parts of Pakistan.
most of Awan community live in Punjab, with significant numbers also residing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Kashmir and to a lesser extent in Sindh and Baluchistan.
According to census, Awan community comprise of 20 million people living across the country.
The People of the Awan community have a strong presence in the Pakistani and have great traditions.
