Islamabad, Nov. 5 (TNS): After agreement with the government Newly appointed chief of Tehreek-i-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah Pakistan Allama Sahibzada Peer Muhammad Ziaullah Qadri on Sunday asked followers to refrain from protests and sit-ins,
Speaking to movement leaders, workers and media persons, Qadri expressed satisfaction on government’s quick action on the clause regarding finality of prophethood.
Allama Sahibzada Peer Muhammad Ziaullah Qadri also announced to take back demand for Rana Sana Ullah’s resignation saying that the provincial minister has apologized over his controversial statement and satisfied Ulma-e-Kiram.
He said in present scenario, protests and sit-ins would divide the nation and is against national interests.
Earlier on Friday, Tehreek Labaik Ya Rasool Allah Pakistan and federal government signed an agreement to end a week long protest and sit-in.
Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, State Minister for Interior Muhammad Talal Chaudhry and DC Islamabad Captain ( R) Mushtaq Ahmed represented the government and Islamabad administration side, while Tehreek-i-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah Pakistan leaders included Chairman Tehreek-i-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah Pakistan, Dr Muhammad Ashraf Asif Jalali, Central Leader of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, Moulana Shadab Raza Qadri, Provincial Ameer Tehreek-i-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah Pakistan, Dr Muhammad Zafar Iqbal Jalali and Member Coordination Committee Tehreek-i-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah Pakistan, Muhammad Asif Ali Jalali.
Following are the main points of the agreement between the government and the negotiation team of the Tehreek-i-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah Pakistan:
- In order to stop conspiracies of non-believers of Khatm-e-Nabuwat, the government will constitute a powerful national consultation council within two months, comprising eminent scholars.
- Asia Bibi, convicted for blasphemy, to be punished as per court orders and that she has not been sent aboard.
- Government would conduct a comprehensive inquiry into recent change of wording in the declaration of Phrophethood (Khatam-e-Nabuwat) in Election Reform Bill 2017 and to public probe’s outcome before the nation within 20 days.

The government would identify and punish individual (if found) involved in the recent change of wording in the amendment bill and Ulma-e-Kiram would be taken into confidence.
- Government of Pakistan to continue moral, diplomatic and political support to Rohingya Muslims being massacred in Myanmar and Pakistan would work with Turkey for rehabilitation of Burmese Muslims and all details would be published.
- Federal government would advise provincial government of Punjab to ensure already existing policy on numbers of load speakers being used in mosques.
- Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, in presence of Ulma-e-Kiram, would give explanation about his controversial statements.
Tehreek-i-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah Pakistan rally led by Moulana Ashraf Jilali had arrived from Lahore via GT Road to protest changes made to the Khatam-e-Nabuwat declaration for electoral candidates.
