Islamabad, Nov. 7 (TNS): Responding to detailed judgment of the Supreme Court in Panama Papers case, former First-Daughter Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday termed the ruling as an embarrassment to ‘law and justice’.
In series of tweets, Maryam Nawaz said that the in the decision Nawaz Sharif was not only victim but the justice was itself.
She also referred to it as a “travesty of justice”, as she claimed that the asset mentioned is the salary to be received from the son.
“The asset here is ‘bete se tankhwa’! What a travesty of justice!”, she tweeted.
Maryam, emerging face of PML-N, also termed the decision as ‘unimaginabale’.
“This decision could only be under immense pressure otherwise such travesty of justice is unimaginable,” Maryam added.
She went on to say: “It’s the same Maryam who didn’t even figure in the verdict earlier. Now avenged bcoz she questioned & spoke against injustice. Vendetta!”
Maryam said it was 6th decision in a single case.
