Islamabad, Nov. 8 (TNS): Rebel members of Mutehida Qaumi Movement, Salman Mujahid Baloch and Dr. Fauzia Hameed called on Asif Ali Zardari here on Wednesday.
During the the meeting they discussed current political situation of the country.
The meeting was important in wake of MQM-P and PSP alliance, certain disgruntled MQM-P leaders have met ex-President Asif Ali Zardari for probable inclusion in PPP.
MQM-P lawmakers Salman Mujahid and Dr. Fauzia Hameed arrived at Islamabad’s Zardari House where the two discussed political matters with the PPP Co-chairman. Sources claim that a group of MQM-P leaders may join PPP.
It should be recalled that similar incidents occurred a few days ago when MQM-P Senator Khushbakht Shujat and MNA Ali Rashid had met Zardari. The four leaders of MQM-P are expected to join PPP in near future, according to sources.
The development is important as top brass of Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) have agreed to move into General Elections 2018 with a political alliance with Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQMP).
