PESHAWAR, Nov 21 (TNS):The Peshawar High Court here Tuesday ordered IGP Khyber Pakthunkhwa to submit detail report in the girl disgraced case of DI Khan incident till Nov 22 (tomorrow).
The bench presided over by Chief Justice PHC, Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Syed Afsar Shah after hearing arguments of petitioner counsel, Qazi Anwar Advocate, summoned a detail report form IG KP and adjourned the hearing till Nov 22 (tomorrow).
Earlier, Chairperson, in Search of Justice NGO Chairperson Salma Malik told media persons that major objectives of bringing the case in Peshawar High Court was proper probe the case besides provision of speedy justice to the litigant without pressure from any quarter.
The unfortunate incident took place in Garamat village of DI Khan last month where as 16-year-old girl, Sharifa Bibi was disgraced over a petty issue. The unfortunate incident sparked widespread criticism and demanded justice for the victim family besides protection of the affected girl.
