Says PTI’s govt will invest in people before developing infrastructure
LAYYAH Dec 05 (TNS): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that his party will make Pakistan great again if they are elected to power.
Addressing a public meeting at Layyah, Khan said that PTI’s first task when coming into power will be to demolish Governor House in Punjab. “We will not allow anyone to loot the nation’s wealth. We have to assure the masses that their money is being spent in the right way,” he said. “I collect Rs. 9 billion in donations for Shaukat Khan Memorial Cancer Hospital yearly,” Khan said.
The PTI chairman said that Pakistan’s passport will be seen with respect and more tourists will visit Pakistan than Switzerland. “People, from outside Pakistan, will come to the country for education and jobs,” he said.
Khan said that PTI will come up with such policies that will eradicate poverty from the country. He added, “We will devise policies regarding education and health for the poor”. He said that no one will be able to exploit the farmers during PTI’s tenure.
The PTI chief stated that the former rulers have put the country in debt. “Every citizen of the country has to pay a debt of over Rs. 1 million,” he said.
He said that investment will not take place in Pakistan unless the corrupt system ends. He said that those nations progress who learn from their mistakes. “Every country rises and falls,” he said.
He said that the nations who do not learn from their mistakes do not succeed. He said that Malaysians learnt from Pakistan and progressed ahead past us. He said that the federal government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf after General Elections 2018 would have Pakistan regain its lost respect.
Imran Khan criticised the government of Punjab by saying that PTI would ‘invest in people’ first and then move to developing the infrastructure.
PTI chief cited Japan and Germany when he said that education should be the priority when a government is investing for better lives of the people.
