Srinagar, Dec. 10 (TNS): In Occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed today, to mark the World Human Rights Day.

Call for the shutdown and blackout has been given by the joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik against gross human rights violations in Kashmir.

The leadership is scheduled to take out a protest rally from Lal Chowk to UN Office at Sonwar. However, the puppet administration has deployed heavy Indian troops in the valley to foil the march.

Meanwhile, the victims of human rights abuses held a sit-in protest at Pratap Park in Srinagar today to inform the world about the miseries inflicted by the Indian occupational forces.
