ISLAMABAD Dec 11 (TNS): Pakistan stood at 116th spot in the list of most corrupt countries of the world, according to a report.
According to Transparency International, Pakistan stood at No. 53 in 1996, 114th place in 2005 and No. 127 in 2013.
In 2016, Pakistan was placed at No. 116 out of 175 countries in the corruption index.
Meanwhile, India and China are both at No. 79 on the list while Saudi Arabia was at No. 62. The 75th place in the rankings was taken by Turkey.
Sri Lanka stood at 95th place while Afghanistan was at 169th place.
