Islamabad, Dec. 15 (TNS): Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal reacted over Jahngir Tareen’s disqualification.
The apex court dismissed petition of PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi seeking disqualification of PTI Chief Imran Khan but disqualified the Party’s Secretary General Jehangir Tareen.
The verdict reserved by the apex court on Nov. 14 was announced by head of the three-member bench, Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar in Islamabad on Friday afternoon.
Shahbaz Sharif took to Twitter to express his reaction on the development.
Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal said different parameters used to disqualify Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan.
Allegedly different parameters used 2 disqualify NS and 2 qualify IK will be debated in days to come & raise questions for rule of law.
