LAHORE, Dec 17 (TNS): Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan’s convoy came under attack while on the way to Lahore from Okara on Sunday.
Bullets hit the vehicle of PTI leader Faisal Javed right behind Imran’s convoy however he escaped unhurt as the vehicle was bullet-proof.
The PTI accused former Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani’s son Ali Moosa Gilani for the assault.
“Ali Gilani got the convoy attacked through his security guards. Gilani was boarding Land Cruiser with number plate ‘AFF 148’. The other Land Cruiser with him had the number plate ‘BD 7098’, while the vehicle from which guards were firing had the number plate ‘MNC 1111’,” said the PTI.
The ruling party of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced to lodge an FIR against Ali Moosa Gilani.

This should be noted that Imran Khan’s convoy was travelling to Lahore after attending a public rally in Okara.
However Ali Geelani has refuted the allegations leveled on him by PTI saying that he actually called 15 about the firing incident when he came to know about the passage of Imran’s rally.
