Lahore, Dec. 21 (TNS): Hitting hard at PTI chief Imran Khan, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday said those levelling false allegations must be unveiled and held accountable.
While addressing an event, he said that National Accountability Bureau is free to investigate Multan’s Metro project.
Punjab government spending billions of rupees for federal government’s national highway projects, said Shehbaz, adding “for the first time in 70 years, the Punjab government is financing the projects of the federal government.”
He remarked that the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa took a loan for its metro project. On the other hand, “we are spending from our own pockets on projects worth billions of rupees,” he added.
“We are serving the nation with good intentions and passion,” the chief minister said.
On the development projects in the country, he shared that Pakistan’s first IT university is being built in Rahim Yar Khan, along with a Rs24billion new road in Khanewal.
