Sukkur, Dec. 26 (TNS): Two women, set ablaze by a policeman under the influence of alcohol in Sukkur last week, succumbed to their wounds during treatment on Tuesday.
The suspect, police constable Mehboob Bhutto, had set his sister Nausheen and a neighbour Arbeli on fire on Friday for inviting unwanted guests at his nephew’s wedding.
The victims were being treated at a private hospital in Karachi.

A case was lodged against the suspect after he was arrested the same day.
Bodies have been handed over to the victims’ relatives after medico-legal formalities.
