LAHORE Dec 29 (TNS): Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that the interest of sugarcane growers will be ensured.
Addressing a meeting through video conference from Madina Munawwara on Friday, he discussed the recommendations and proposals presented by the Committee, setup to solve the problems of sugar cane growers in the province.
The Chief Minster directed to take indiscriminate action against sugar mills who are deducting sugar cane weight.
Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif directed all provincial Ministers and Secretaries to remain in field and provide updated information in this regard.
