RAWALPINDI Jan 01 (TNS): Awami Muslim League (AML) President Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad on Monday said there is an important corruption case that Nawaz Sharif is facing. He will not get a National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) even if he visits all Arab countries.

He said that accountability of dishonest people is going on in the country, and the offenders are saying they are honest. “When corrupt people go to Mecca and Medina people call them thieves,” he added.

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif are present in Saudi Arabia these days amid speculations of another NRO. Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, Senator Asif Kirmani and Federal Minister for Commerce and Textile, Muhammad Pervaiz Malik are also in Riyadh.

PML-N leaders’ dash to Saudi Arabia has fuelled many speculations back in Pakistan. Sheikh Rasheed said that the nation will soon come to know about the future, and advised to wait.
