Islamabad, Jan. 6 (TNS): Indian Journalist Chandan Nandy who reported that Kulbhushan Jadhav was an Indian spy and sent to Pakistan for espionage has gone missing.
The reporter belongs to The Quint, revealed that two officers of Indian intelligence agency did not want Kulbhushan Jadhav to be recruited as a spy .
The story about Jadhav , however, has been removed from Indian newspaper’s website after immense pressure from Modi government and authorities.
Jadhav was captured due to his unprofessional activities, the newspaper reported. The media outlet further mentioned that RAW desk in Pakistan supported his recruitment.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesman Dr. Faisal said that Indian newspaper took down the story stating truth is stranger than fiction.
FO spokesperson further tweeted: “Update as reported: Journalist Chandan Nandy who filed the story is “missing/gone in hiding”, was last spotted at Khan Market Delhi and since then has been untraceable for Family and friends. Freedom of press ?”
