LAHORE Jan 09 (TNS): Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that message of love; unity and brotherhood should be promoted through Khanqahs.
Addressing a Mashaikh conference here, he said that country could not afford unrest, adding that one should stick to his religion and must not interfere in others faith.
He said that role of religious scholars was of prime importance in promoting peace and tolerance besides achieving the real destination of the nation.
Shehbaz Sharif said religious scholars should play their role to make a peaceful society.
He said Pakistan was created in the name of Islam and solution to the country’s problems lies in following the guidelines provided in the Quran and Sunnah.
