Karachi, Jan. 16 (TNS): Senior police officer SSP Malir Rao Anwar escaped a ‘suicide’ attack on his convoy in Karachi on Tuesday, local media reported.

According to reports, a suicide attacker blew himself near Anwar’s vehicle when he was on his way home from work.

Fortunately, the official remained unhurt.

In retaliation, police guards killed at least two assailants.
